Ysaÿe’s Sonata No. 3 was performed on this violin by the composer himself, and showcases technical prowess and deep musical expression. Composed as a wedding present for Ysaÿe, Franck’s Violin Sonata displays an audacious, show-stopping virtuosity between the violin and piano. Rearranged as a wedding present for Beilman, Contemporary composer Chris Rogerson’s Arietta provided the sweet, intimate sound as Beilman’s Bride walked down the aisle.
